Grilled cheeses with real cheddar (!), prosciutto, and bread from the loaf of halal slice-y bread we bought at a market in the Bronx today while E talked to the tour guide of the Edgar Allen Poe cottage, plus tom ka gai with cabbage, parsley stems, and ginger made from the jarred tom ka soup base we bought at the Thai market next to the halal one.
