Immediately before coming down with a cold, I started a batch of these peanut butter butter and chocolate chip cookies — “immediately” as in between creaming the butter and sugar and getting the dough onto cookie sheets. In the end we didn’t bake any that day — I rolled the dough into golfball-sized chunks and froze them instead so I could go lay down.
At JMM’s insistence, we baked a few during our convalescence (we pulled these out halfway through baking to press chocolate chips into their tops). Antibiotics have nothing on these guys.
