I cleared the table of my sewing detritus so we could have breakfast: tomato and mayo sandwiches, cold-brew green tea, and fried bamieh (in the little bag) that my mom sent in the mail. Bamieh are so called because they look like okra, and they taste kind of like if you dipped a churro in rosewater sugar syrup, but better.
