Found the perfect quiet afternoon before leaving for Alaska to make this prize-winning gyokuro. (Thanks to Tea Wing for making it available in New York!) It tasted like a broth of pine needles and ocean, rich and delicate at the same time, and of course I ate the tea leaves after steeping them three times. Afterwards I felt giddy and wise.
